Microbrewery

This personal project was to create product packaging for my microbrewery. Drawing on techniques from my printmaking major—such as analogue texture, collage, and risograph-inspired colour separations—I developed a visual identity that feels handcrafted.

The product is small scale brews of mead, ales, and kombucha.

I developed a colour story using black and white, allowing the ale to be the hero. This solution offers flexibility to adapt to different brews. The goal is to hero beekeepers and seasonal produce within a consistent brand story.

The process included research, sketching. I used home printmaking materials such as lino and small “press” in the form of a rolling pin. Later, high-resolution scanning, and digital design, and label manufacturing.
