MARKET LANE

For Market Lane, I created a packaging concept for coffee drip bags and an EDM highlighting the brand’s growers and suppliers.

The brief was to re-imagine the packaging for a less familiar coffee format while respecting Market Lane’s existing minimalist visual language. This design task needed the coffee drip bags to be understood quickly: a portable filter coffee experience that only requires hot water. I used simple instructional illustration to show the product in use, with the drip bag suspended over a cup and a kettle pouring water through it.

The packaging system also used a continuous line wrapping around the box, encouraging the customer to turn the object and follow the product story across multiple panels. This line echoed the bracket-like forms already present in Market Lane’s identity, including the B Corp symbol and the structure of the logo.

The result was a restrained but explanatory packaging concept that used illustration, structure and brand analysis to make an unfamiliar product feel intuitive.
