Ongoing in-house role

The project was a full brand refresh for Yugen Tea Bar, where I work in-house as the designer. 

I brought in more colour, hand-drawn illustrations, and a friendlier tone across all touchpoints.

Deliverables included a new logo system, menus, retail labels, grease-paper, A-frame signage, loyalty cards, monthly flyers, launch posters, window illustrations, stickers, animated digital billboard screens, and social media assets. I also developed a detailed brand style guide covering logo use, typography, colour, and best practice examples.

Designs were created using a combination of hand-drawn illustration, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. Inspiration came from the Melbourne coffee scene, our chefs and team, and a shared love of food & bevs. The final brand is both refined and playful—designed to grow with the café.
